Call for Papers

Pacific Graphics 2006 will be held on October 11 to 13, 2006 in Taipei, Taiwan, China. Taipei is a splendid mixture of tradition and modernity. She is also a center of politics, commerce, finance, fashion and culture of Taiwan.

Pacific Graphics is an annual international conference on computer graphics and applications. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for researchers, developers, practitioners to present and discuss new problems, solutions, and technologies in computer graphics. Pacific Graphics 2006 continues the highly successful series of Pacific Graphics conferences for researchers in computer graphics and related areas.

Pacific Graphics 2006 continues the highly successful series of Pacific Graphics conferences for researchers in computer graphics and related areas. Although the conferences have a Pacific Rim focus, they also attract researchers and their students from the rest of the world.

Authors are invited to submit original papers in all areas of computer graphics. Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):

All regular papers accepted by Pacific Graphics 2006 will be published as journal papers in the Visual Computer Journal published by Springer.

Paper Format

Original unpublished papers of up to 8 pages (two-column, single-spaced, 10 point font, including figures, tables and references) are invited. An extension could be made up to 10 pages in maximum if absolutely necessary. Manuscripts must be written in English and formatted by using the templates (DOC, LaTeX). The paper will be reviewed as double blind reviewing, please do not put any author and affiliation information in the paper and supplemental materials. Instead, please be sure that all pages are numbered and that each page includes your paper's ID number. Submissions are made electronically in Adobe PDF for documents (no paper copy will be accepted), QuickTime MPEG-4 or DivX version 5 for additional videos, and TIFF, JPEG, or PNG for additional still images. All supplemental materials (including videos and additional images) and the document should be provided as a single archive .zip file with your manuscript.
